ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

An enthusiastic administration assistant is required to join a busy classical architecture firm in central London. Day to day tasks would include the management of the reception area, answering all inquiries the office receives and supporting the directors and architects with projects, publicity documents and reports. Alongside this there would also be the opportunity to develop a social media presence for the company including website design. A good knowledge of Microsoft Office is required and experience of Photoshop, Illustrator or Indesign would be a bonus but not essential. This post would ideally be suited for anyone looking to gain experience in a busy office environment.

An interest in architecture is an advantage but not essential. Basic training will be provided in the use of design programmes and other software required for daily tasks in an architectural office.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
-Reception duties
-Personal assistant duties
-Scheduling meetings
-Procuring office supplies
-Basic maintenance around office
-Archiving and updating literature in library
-Publicity, including submitting for awards and bidding for new work
-Updating website and social media
-Writing reports and submitting planning applications
-Project and product research
-Handling drawing packages
-Making minor changes on drawings and images using AutoCAD and Photoshop

SKILLS DESIRED INCLUDE:
- Minimum 2.2 undergraduate degree (or equivalent)
- Professional communication skills
- Professional organisation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to time manage and prioritise tasks whilst working to tight deadlines and under pressure in a busy office environment
- A keen eye for detail and care in one's own work
